Contract renewal before price increase?

My contract is up for renewal on the 17th march.
The offer I've been given for full fibre 145 is £29.99, which is already more than the currant offer for new customers at £26.99. It then increase to £32.99 2 weeks after that!

What's the best coarse of action?
Should I let it moved to a rolling contract and find a better deal in April?
Or speak to plusnet and try and engociate a better deal now?

I don't want to leave but there's other providers offering better deals with the bonus of a gift card.

Re: Contract renewal before price increase?

ALWAYS speak to an advisor ... they have the ability to be flexible ... whereas a computer does not.

I have literally just come off a three way call between one of my referrals and PlusNet COTS.  They were negotiating a new contract which was not what they really wanted when I joined the conversation ... after discussing what is available, they got a cracking deal though it took a bit of battering, notably through knowing what is available on the website and "grumbling" a little that the price might go up so soon after starting the new contract!!!

It is possible that the sales staff do not have all options on their list - they certainly did not have the generous EE for Plusnet SIM only deals at their finger tips.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
