Direct Debit Problem.

Following on from this thread.....

I'm having the same problem, my bank is Lloyds.
I've never had a problem with a direct debit set up ever except when Plusnet do it.
Today I logged into my Plusnet account and changed payment method to a new direct debit (it's the same as before really) just so I can be sure the sort code and account number are correct.
I've set up a direct debit for something completely different (not Plusnet) this month that was no problem.
I've started to think this is a problem on Plusnet's side.

Hopefully it's going to work now I can see a direct debit set up in my bank.

I have 5 days to pay according to my member centre dashboard

I only had two days left to pay so paid by debit card.

The direct debit mandate is showing in my bank but nothing was taken by Plusnet.

Not sure what's happening with it but I think from our side, there is a note on the account: https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=view_service_notice&id=619373504 that explains the situation

I think that when the Plusnet amount was first due there wasn't any Direct Debit mandate in place, why I don't know,

Plusnet have had the correct details from the start when I signed up.

Plusnet didn't re-request the amount when the mandate was eventually in place.

I'll update this thread on the next billing cycle,I don't want to be paying by debit card every month.
