Why would you want to do such a thing ?
It is ALWAYS more useful to HAVE a static IP than not.
When I was with Plusnet I had four static IP addresses and used all of them, with my new ISP I have five !.
You might regret losing it if you intend to keep your landline phone number after December 2025 and migrate to VoIP, as many VoIP devices use static IP.

Truly static IP addresses do not remove themselves. There are administrative events which will cause the temporary allocation of a fixed IP address, for example being in failed billing, in which case they can be perceived to have changed on their own.
Are you sure you had a static IP address opposed to experiencing sticky dynamic IP address syndrome?
Dynamic IP address are allocated fairly locally out of a comparatively small pool of IP addresses. If one disconnects the router and reconnects swiftly there is a high chance that the same dynamic IP address will be reallocated. In such cases it becomes a sticky dynamic IP address.
Disconnecting the router for a period (2 hours is recommended) usually causes a sticky IP address to go away.
