Early termination charge to move to EE?

As they are essentially the same company, does this apply. I read some posts on here from earlier in the year to say they can waive these charges, is this still the case and how is it arranged? Thanks

Currently EE is £42/m for full fibre 900 vs plusnet £47.99 and that's with a discount.

Best advice would be to speak to the Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632

Re: Early termination charge to move to EE?

I asked a similar question recently, about cancelling and moving to BT.

Plusnet told me that early termination charges would apply, but BT told me that they pay those charges, up to a maximum of £300 I think it was, to new customers joining them.

EE may do the same.

Re: Early termination charge to move to EE?

In some circumstances where for permitted reasons Plusnet arranges the transfer, ETCs might be cancelled.  Such arrangements MUST be made via COTS.  Plusnet and EE might indeed be part of the same conglomerate, but they are far from being the same company.

Contact Customer Options Team (aka COTS)

COTs is the place to go to if you want to find out anything to do with your contract in respect of leaving, renewing or simply enquiring about early termination charges (ETCs). They have their own number and tend to answer quicker than the general customer service number.
