Hi,
I've been with plusnet for many years now and currently have full fibre 900 to my house.
I've recently been assigned as an executor on a property which I will be selling in 2025 under probate.
Mobile data signal is appalling at the property, so I could do with a short term broadband deal there, to tide me over for the period until I sell. It won't be heavy use and would just be used when in attendance there, selling contents and preparing for sale etc. I believe the house has a fibre service already setup, it's just not in use since the contracts with BT were cancelled when the owner passed away.
I have looked for rolling 1 month contracts but none seem to be available in the area.
Do plusnet offer such a service to use over the short period?

Plusnet don't but I believe A&A (Andrews & Arnold) do, although they may be a bit expensive.

@redpj as @jab1 says, A & A will do rolling one-month contracts, see here https://www.aa.net.uk/broadband/home1/
If you're lucky and the location is in the CityFibre area then its only £10 install and £35/month. If its just Openreach then I'm afraid its £100 install and £37/month
edit: Openreach has a minimum term of 12 months

The kick in the teeth is cos it's openreach, even though it says monthly contract there's a £20 let month termination fee for any months less than 12 used in the term. So if I only need it for 6 months it's £100 up front then £37 each month, then a £120 charge because I didn't keep it 12 months.
Think that makes A&A not an option.
Standard 12 month with early exit charges is cheaper.

I really must re-read posts before commenting! You stated originally mobile data signal is bad.
Sorry about that.

@redpj if it already has an FTTP installation and an ONT is still there , it shouldn't need an engineer appt but should be a remote activation. Would any install fee therefore be reduced ?
