How do I view in my billing an 0800 call I made

I made an 0800 number call to a national company about an issue that has developed further. I now need to demonstrate that the call had actually been made, so looked at my bill for that date, but there was nothing there. I can understand that some 0800 numbers need to be hidden, such as women's refuges or similar, but not a generic blanket on the information.
Any ideas anyone?

As 0800 numbers are free, they wont appear on an itemised bill.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
