Moving to BT Full Fibre Problem

I notified Plus Net 25/05 that I wished to move broadband & phone to BT. They agreed to waive termination fees if the move happened within 30 days. I signed up with BT the same day and was given an install date of 09/06- today. On arrival the Openreach engineer has discovered no duct to the house (despite wholesale checker stating otherwise) and has told me I will have to wait for civils to come and dig a new trench and lay a new duct. My question is if this takes longer than 30 days will I be penalised?

I'm sorry to hear that your order with BT has been delayed.

If you're getting close to the end of the 30 days just give us a call and we can extend the window again 

After the 3rd of November I will have a limited presence here as I have moved to a new role
