New customer/Billing query.....

I signed up to Plusnet on the 11th August during the sign up I had to pay for one month in advance £25.99 with the installation/activation date being today (28th August). Just a few moments ago I checked my online Plusnet account only to find my next payment is due on the 11th September......am I not paying for days I did not have Plusnet?

I'm sure this is simple to understand....but this is me. Can someone explain why this happens? I tend to not understand stuff like this very well Smiley TIA

I would expect that the bill on 11 September will be for the month up to 10 October but will also include a refund for the days from 11 August to 27 August when you had no service (meaning that you will only have paid for the 28 August  to 10 September period). If that is not the case when that bil arrives, then you will need to contact Plusnet to get it sorted.

Although you pay a month in advance the actually billing only starts when your service goes live.

 

Login to your PN Members page and look at the two bills. They should state what periods they cover. If one's not right then it may well sort itself out the following month.

Thanks, I will certainly keep an eye on it and contact PN if this isn't the case.
