No discount in this month's bill, despite contract not ended yet

Saw a huge increase in my bill this month. Compared the two latest bills, and it seems that I have not had the usual £14.95 discount applied.
June: £26.80
July: £41.75 (!!)
I am currently in an 18-month contract which does not end until 20th Aug. Can you please explain why I have not received the discount on this month's bill, even though my contract has not ended yet?
I wish to terminate the contract as soon as possible, without any additional costs. These are ludicrous prices for broadband that will be far cheaper elsewhere... particularly a challenge with the current living costs!
