Overcharged on contract renewal

I was paying just over £30 for fibre 150 and took up an offer to move to fibre 300 for around £34 pm my first bill after I upgraded was £56 and my subsequent bill this month is £49. I can see offers for fibre 500 for lest than the £49 I'm being billed for. Anyone know why this would be happening?
