Overcharging

I am presently in contract for Full Fibre 300 at £29.99 (which I am not receiving but that is an entirely different issue presently being discussed elsewhere).

So, I assume I should be billed £29.99 a month.

However, looking at my bank statements I have been billed:

12th April: £30.88
10th May: £30.99
9th June: £29.12

Could anyone explain this to me? Am I being billed daily or something?

@Eggs

Have you logged in to your account and looked at the full itemised breakdown of your bills?

Re: Overcharging

Sounds like it could be adjustments in price and discounts for part months due to contract change perhaps ?

The breakdown on page 2 onwards of the bill should explain.

As to the differing dates, the bill is raised on the same day each month, but the actual DD collection date may be slightly different due to weekends/holidays

Re: Overcharging

Full Fibre 145: £38.75
Full Fibre 300: £44.28
Full Fibre 300: £45.76
Discount £8.86
Promotional Discount -£15.26
Promotional Discount -£15.77

All I can think of is because I have just switched from the 145 to the 300 service the bills are taking a couple of months to catch up.

Fix

Hi @Eggs

That is odd. I've refunded the overcharges and dropped you an email with an explanation.

I hope this helps.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Re: Overcharging

I was indeed being overcharged and it has now been rectified.

Plusnet were fined £880000 for overcharging a few years ago.
