Hi,
Just noticed 5 calls to 123 on my upcoming bill. I 100% haven't used the speaking clock!

05/01/2024 10:49:48 123 0:00:03 £0.50
05/01/2024 10:49:58 123 0:00:06 £0.50
05/01/2024 10:50:11 123 0:00:02 £0.50
05/01/2024 10:50:43 123 0:00:02 £0.50
I found a few threads re. Openreach engineers not following correct test procedures. I do recall seeing a van parked across the street a few weeks ago but can't be certain it was these exact dates, although it would make sense.
Anyway, a £2.50 credit would be appreciated.

Why can't OR Engineers use a non chargeable number when they want to test line?
They can! They have an 0800 one I believe. It's just easier for them to dial 123🙄
To be fair, I think 'real' OR engineers are pretty good at not using 123, its mainly contractors who do...
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

I thought that was what the 17070 "SALT" test number was for?
