Plusnet Billing me 264£ for an account i didnt want to be closed

16 March - I call plusnet wanting my account to be cancelled
27 March - I call plusnet again saying I've changed my mind and I don't want my account to be cancelled. This call was taken by <redacted>. I asked him if it was possible to uncancel the cancel he said yes.
1st April WiFi stops working
8 April ~ I call plusnet to say my WiFi stopped working. The man explained that I phoned them too late and my account was cancelled. I said I didn't want this will I still be billed? He said no I won't be billed.
21 April- I get an email from plusnet saying g that they couldn't take a payment of 264£ from my account.
22 April - I call plusnet saying I was told I wouldn't be charged and now I have. Nobody seems to be capable of fixing this issue so I get passed around to 3 different people from 3 different departments and nobody could fix the problem.

1. Yes I asked for the WiFi to be cancelled.
2. I called them before the date of cancelled to not cancel the WiFi

3. I was told I would not be charged for the cancellation.
4. Now being charged for the cancellation.
5. Nobody can fix the issue.
