Plusnet took almost double the contract amount from my bank account

My contract with Plusnet expires 2023 04 27.

I have renewed my contract for another 2 years

Suddenly, my account tells me ... "Your last bill on 26th March 2023 for £43.96"

Why ?  Where does this amount come from ????  That's almost double the contracted amount ...

That looks about £20 too much ...

Please explain

What does it say on the detailed section on the bill?

Nothing that makes any sense in relation to the contract amount

@irritablegit  You have to have Einstein's brain to unravel the complexities of a Plusnet bill, it would you seem you do not possess this requirement.😀

That looks like the out of contract amount so the system has not updated your new contract - what does your dashboard show for your contracted price ?  The system has not coped well with these increases and change of contracts.

Hi there @irritablegit it seems like the discounts haven't been actioned and I am sorry about that! The team were supposed to have cleared all of these up last week but it doesn't seem to have happened. I will add the discounts correctly for you now and refund this last bill!
