Renew contract after only three months to get lower price

Hello.

Three months ago I switched from Plusnet FTTC to Plusnet Full Fibre 74 at a monthly price of £27.99 on a 24 month contract. The price for this package has recently dropped to £23.99. Is it possible to get the lower price by restarting my 24 month contract term?

Thanks.

Re: Renew contract after only three months to get lower price

Normally you can only recontract 3 months before the expiry of the current contract, meaning you have 18 months to go.

However it may be worth giving the customer options team a call on 0800 013 2632 and see if they will cancel the current contract and signup for a new one at £23.99 per month.  The call is free, and you have nothing to loose.  I would be polite, say you want to re-negotiate the deal and maybe highlight that £27.99 is a really poor deal, especially when you factor in you will have to face two CPI + 3.9% increases during that time - could be £33-£35 per month by the end of the second year if CPI stays high.
