He's not eligible for any social tariffs. He's happy to pay the going rate, but not eh out of contract rate, which is astronomical.
Our home number has just been accepted for porting, so i'll buy the kit and set it up at home, in the hope, if the worst comes to the worst, I can get him set up and running pretty quickly.

Thanks to the forum staff. It seems my Dad DID in fact receive a renewal, or at least one was sent. the renewal did include a phone line and was for 12 months, good price too! I shall be encouraging to accept it pdq, before it expires!!

I realise PN staff have days off, but I responded to a couple of PM's about this as I have had the ok from my Dad to accept the offer before it expires. I want to confirm the phone line IS included as shown circled and that if he needs to, he can add a call package later. Once I have these reassurances, I can push the button.

I would phone Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632 as the staff on the forums are not involved in new contracts.
