Silver address

I have been a customer of Plusnet since 2013 and have never been able to upgrade to fibre even though fibre is connected to the same cabinet I am wired to. I asked Openreach to investigate and they replied:
"I’ve had a look into this and your property is what we call a silver address (this just means that although it is registered with Royal Mail, has been assigned a Unique Property Reference Number (UPRN) and is on our database, we have no record of a previous service there).
The good news is that this is just a records issue and can be easily fixed by your service provider."

I have found no process to have this problem fixed by Plusnet. Does anyone have any tips?

Re: Silver address

@Bou1000 Your best bet, under the present circumstances, is to ring PN and hope you get an agent who has a clue. Normally, this would be picked up by a member of the Community Team on here, but for some unknown reason, that team appears to have gone AWOL.

If you don't have any luck with the phone call come back and maybe someone on here can give things a kick.

Re: Silver address

From what I recall the form is known as a ODRI - Openreach Data Integrity

Re: Silver address

From what I've seen, @Gandalf  appears to deal with ORDI (Openreach Data Integrity) requests ?.

@outcast Gandalf is not on the Community Team, and only pops in here infrequently, but if he spots this, maybe...

Re: Silver address

Hey @Bou1000,

Record issues on the Openreach side are usually easy to fix. I’ve submitted a request to Openreach to correct the records. I expect to receive an update within 1-5 working days. Once I have the update, I’ll update the ticket on your account and inform you of the outcome.

Re: Silver address

For future reference. Today I spoke to an Openreach engineer working on the pole outside my flat and he confirmed that fibre is available from that location, so the issue is definitely the admin error.
