Wrong price

My account in "members centre" it's showing my monthly price is £29.99.
My account only went live on the 1/4/25 and the price I signed up for was £26.99.
Can someone at Plusnet please correct this.

Re: Wrong price

Can't wait for a answer here because my 14 day cooling off period is close to expiring, so I've phone support to get this corrected.
My account now shows the monthly amount is now £46.20. 🤔

Re: Wrong price

I blame the systems no the staff.
At the moment I finding it predictably amusing but hope it's corrected before the 14 days point.

Re: Wrong price

It could be 'the systems' - but don't 'the staff' check what is generated?

Maybe I'm getting old and grumpy, but there is no way I would be amused by gross incompetence - human or machine generated.

Re: Wrong price

I've come to expect incompetence it's everywhere, and it's always a computers fault Smiley
I'm just glad I'm retired and don't have to deal with it in a working environment.
Life is a lot less stressful if you just accept it and have fun with it.

Re: Wrong price

@npr Hi there, Had a quick look at your account to see whats going on. The advisor you spoke to today has removed the previous discount as it was incorrect and submitted the new discount today. This discount the advisor added does seem to be correct but takes 24 hours to clear in our back-end system.

Have a quick check on your member centre tomorrow to see if your monthly fee reflects your agreed contract price.

All the best

Re: Wrong price

I get you. I'm also retired, but I still remember while I was working - and most of it was in the 'computer' era - that I had a pride in my job - If I did something wrong, even on the machine, I felt bad about it, these days as you say the usual response is 'it is the computers fault' - even if it isn't.

If I get that response, I end the call/meeting and find the next rung up the ladder, and the next, until I get a sensible response. I don't get stressed, but I don't let go, either.

Re: Wrong price

@Windings It's over 24 hours since I contacted support and my account is still incorrectly showing my bill as £46.20 per month.

Re: Wrong price

Hey @npr,

I have had a look into your account, and I can see the discounts are currently pending but it appears they are stuck in our system, I have raised this issue off so this can be resolved at this time since it is the weekend I may not get a response back but as soon as I have an update I will be in touch via a ticket on your account
