I recognise that map, but I'm sure that when I checked my exchange, Bradwell Abbey in Milton Keynes, just a few weeks ago, it said "by December 2026". Now it says: "We'll be building this exchange soon.........the first homes and businesses should be able to order Ultrafast Full Fibre broadband within 12 months or sooner.

AFAIK, all of the Bradwell Abbey exchange area, (with the possible exception of the very old parts such as the original Milton Keynes village), are fed underground - a legacy of the old New Towns Cable TV system, which no longer operates, I think?

Hopefully Openreach will be able to use the existing ducts and small tubes in to houses to run there fibres in and speed up the installation?

Collapsed ducts etc permitting! 😉

Yeah, my exchange - Beauchief - moved from 3rd quarter of 2025 to 'next 12 months in this latest programme. It is all underground to the streets in the majority of Sheffield, but telegraph poles (overhead) from the DP chambers in all but 'new-build' developments.
