Account credited - missed engineer

I've just had an email to say I have been credited for a missed engineer visit, the visit was supposed to be this afternoon. Is this the only communication I am going to receive to tell me they are not coming? What am I supposed to do now? I've been waiting for this appointment for 2 months and my contract with my old provider ends next week!

I realise that Openreach cancelling is not the fault of anyone at Plusnet but this is not the way I expect to be informed that I have wasted a day off sitting at home for no reason. Very unhappy with this situation and would like to know if I am still able to cancel my order as we are well outside of the 14 day cooling off period due to how long I have been waiting for this to be set up.

Re: Account credited - missed engineer

So you cancel your order with Plusnet … then what? Openreach is used by all of the ISPs who do not have their own independent network. Openreach seem to think that they are still the GPO and totally unaccountable for their failure to deliver.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

What @Townman said, however your best bet is to speak to our customer options team. I would say however, it is highly unlikely they would be able to due to being outside of the 14 day period.
