.
Been using the standard Broadband for several years and am changing to unlimited fibre . I received a hub 2 router yesterday to replace the old +net one . Can I just set it up now and use it , or do I have to wait until the fibre is activated ? Also, how long would that usually take and are you contacted when the fibre is active and have to reset the router , or does it switch automatically?
Thank you.

@Rik13 yes, it will work fine on ADSL ( normal broadband ) and will switch automatically when your Unlimited Fibre is installed.

Will the fibre signal be switched on when my current ADSL contract ends next month or before that ?

You should get email and text messages to advise the fibre installation date.
