Need help please

I have just joined plusnet for the first time. My phone line has been activated but Im still waiting for my broadband to go live the engineer attended my property this morning at 830am but my broadband still isn't up and running.
When will it go live? I was told it would be by midnight but still nothing yet please help I'm new to all this.
