Delays with Full Fibre upgrade

Has anyone else had delays getting their Full Fibre installed at their property? If so, how did you handle it?

I've been waiting almost 3 months for an Open Reach engineer to come do the external work at our property. We've had various appointments set, no one arrives on the day, so the appointments keep getting moved. I haven't really been offered an explanation as to what's causing the delays (I'm assuming there's simply a high demand for the new product).

Re: Delays with Full Fibre upgrade

Hi @ChantyZee thanks for getting in touch, I am sorry to hear that your Full Fibre order is severely delayed.

Having looked into the account, I can see that an explanation was provided to you regarding the delay, namely third party contractors required to do external work.

Furthermore, this is with our escalation team within provisioning, they are working alongside the highest level of complaints handling department and alternative arrangements of getting you some form of broadband have also been put in to place.

You are absolutely right, Full Fibre is in very high demand and Openreach are working hard to source all the necessary parties to get all requests met.

You cal always check the full correspondence on your account on the open question following this link: https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=view_question&id=244075564
