Not an issue for trading standards … but by all means try to get Ofcom to sort out BT Openreach as they are the ones at fault here.

You need to work out what’s your real beef here - you cannot get FTTP in the timeframe you think you should … or you are having to pay out of contract prices for the existing service … which you could re contract for if you cared to do so.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Thank you for your reply. You're right, it's not a Trading Standards matter. I've researched it this evening and it would be a matter to take up with the Communications Ombudsman.

My "beef", is that Plusnet offered me, in a sales telephone conversation, an upgrade to FTTP because my current contract was ending. I agreed and Plusnet accepted the order. Its obvious now that they can't fulfil what they offered. It's a clear case of mis-selling.
