Fiber installation

I was booked in last Monday to have fiber installed and the open reach guy came and installed all the connections in the house but when he came to connect it outside there was a problem! He thinks the pipe has collapsed and they need to instal a new one. This is understandable however I have no contact information and it’s been nearly 2 weeks.

Hi there and sorry for us taking so long to respond to your post. I can see that we're due an update on the order tomorrow and should be able to arrange a new appointment then. A colleague is already due to chase that up and update you but I'll check back on the account myself too to make sure that gets done.

Hi there,

I'm really sorry for the lack of updates on your FTTP order. I've spoken with our suppliers helpdesk and the engineer had identified a blocked duct so had passed this to the relevant team who planned out the work required to resolve.

Our suppliers haven't received a further update regarding whether another engineer actually carried out the planned work so have escalated this. I'm told it can take up to 5 working days for an update so we should know more by the 21st Sept.

I'll make sure we update you as soon as we know more but feel free to get back to me if you have further queries. 

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Let’s hope it’s sorted then as it will have been a month since it should have been installed and my artificial grass is still pulled up awaiting…
