Full fiber upgrade, no router

Engineer came out this morning to install full fiber line. An hour after he left then Internet cut off on the old line and I've not been supplied with my new router yet to plug into the full fiber line.
So I'm stuck with no Internet, with an essay due in a week, and no idea when the new router will arrive 🤷‍♂️

Then, that is what your 'new' one would be - did the engineer not test the FF connection was working before he left - he should have?

Fix

@Glesgadave   That's the correct router, all you need is a Cat5e or better ethernet cable to connect the Hub2 WAN port to the ONT (The box that Openreach have installed).

Re: Full fiber upgrade, no router

No he didn't test against the router at the time. Just said plusnet would send a new one. So I just plug thr hub 2 in by ethernet cable? Is it to the port port eith the red writing under it?Huh
Thanks

Amazing, wish the engineer had just said this earlier 🤣🤣
I have an ethernet cable here but I'll order an upgrade now as well.
Thank you!!!

Re: Full fiber upgrade, no router

He should have done - that is part of the installation process - and yes it is the red port.
