Hi,
So I have been waiting in this morning 08:00 - 13:00 for an engineer to install full fibre. Apparently "plusnet will keep you informed if they have a mobile number for you" (they do).
No one has been in contact and no engineer has turned up. What was the fee they charge if we're not here when they turn up? Is there a reciprocal arrangement? I've lost half a day at £150

What I really want to know is can I still expect an engineer today? How long can I expect to wait until someone contacts me to tell me what's going on?

The engineer still hasn't shown & plusnet support have no information as to whether they will turn up today or not. What I'm wondering is whether my FTTC connection will die today & leave me with no internet?

@jan The chances are your FTTC connection won't die until they start the FTTP connection work.
