Re: Go Live Today

No you shouldn't, which is why I think you have been wrongly provisioned.

Re: Go Live Today

Hopefully it sorts itself out, as I've been using 3G all day, will update tomorrow

Re: Go Live Today

You have not mentioned but is this a new property to you or are you transferring from another supplier?

You also have not said if you have internet access or if the router is showing your username or is it still on setup@plusdsl.net or similar.

Re: Go Live Today

@Mustrum Post #3 clearly shows the Ops connection to be G992.5 ADSL2.

Re: Go Live Today

@jab1   yes I am aware, and given the OP has not yet had the go ahead from PN and has been told up to midnight the provisioning has not yet been completed.

Still sounds to me that Openreach have not been to the cabinet.

Re: Go Live Today

@Mustrum Could be, but would they receive any service if they had applied for FTTC? I can't see it myself.

Re: Go Live Today

@jab1  I've just seen this thread and I would agree with you that it is provisioned incorrectly on ADSL. If FTTC was ordered no ADSL service should be enabled at the exchange. There is next to no chance it will be corrected without cancelling and re-doing the order or maybe the OP could upgrade to FTTC.🙄

Re: Go Live Today

Thanks, @RealAleMadrid . His member centre shows him as being provisioned on FTTC though, so something appears to have gone wrong - OR incompetence?

Re: Go Live Today

Seems to be sorted now, but no emails or texts from plusnet telling me I've went live?

Re: Go Live Today

@ghamilton123  That's interesting, so are you on an FTTC service now?  What do the router stats show?

Re: Go Live Today

Ahem, @ghamilton123  hopefully your go ahead should come through any time soon. No doubt a late in the day Openreach getting to the cabinet, as mentioned.

Re: Go Live Today

@ghamilton123  That looks excellent with full 80/20 speeds, you must be quite close to the FTTC cabinet.

I am surprised that the ADSL service was working yesterday with your correct user details, the only plausible explanation I can offer is that there was an existing ADSL connection supplied by Plusnet at the property and you connected to that. If it was any other ISP you wouldn't have been able to log in.

Anyway it's all looking good now so enjoy the speed.😀

Re: Go Live Today

Not sure where the nearest cabinet is, but there's a exchange just up the road from me from what I know, just hoping we get fibre here soon, moved from gigabit to a area where the only providers are openreach based.
