Missed Engineer Visit - no contact

We were due to receive a visit from an open reach engineer last Tuesday (06/09) for full fibre installation. Unfortunately I had to leave to deal with an emergency and had no way of contacting them to let them know I was unavailable.

I've not received any emails or messages about the missed appointment so have no way to reschedule. Could someone help me book a new appointment?

I appreciate that there's a charge for missing the appointment. But I've had no indication from openreach that an engineer was even sent for me to miss, and no option to rebook the visit.

Hi there,

I'm really sorry we haven't been in touch. I'll be happy to arrange another engineer appointment for you. When could you be available for a visit? You'll probably already know but the engineers work weekdays 8am to 1pm, or 1pm to 6pm. 

If you can let me know a few timeslots / dates which you'll be able to make over the next 1 to 3 weeks, I'll take it to Openreach and book the soonest that they have available for you and I'll then post back here to let you know.

I work from home pretty much full time so any day over the next 3 weeks should be fine.

Hi Alex,

Cool. I've put through a request to rebook the appointment for 30th September between 8am and 1pm which is the earliest showing. I'll make sure we let you know if this is confirmed within the next 1 to 3 working days.
