No Broadband New Customer

My plusnet broadband was supposed to go live today, but as at 20:12 nothing. No activation email or text.

Does anyone know how long it takes to be connected? Never had an issue before when changed ISPS.

I’m now regretting leaving Sky as couldn’t speak with anyone at plusnet at 5 today. It’s just rang and rang. Very poor experience so far!

@Parks Your connection could go live any time up to 23.59 today. Have you definitely lost your SKY one?

Sky was deactivated this morning, which is even more annoying.

Me too! Still waiting since Tuesday. Landline working but no broadband. So frustrating as live quite rural, very limited mobile phone signal and very patchy 4g. Have to drive to nearest cafe to use their wifi to email invoices for husband’s business. The order is stuck whatever that means, though have to say operators are sympathetic

@Michellellew Welcome to the forums. 'Order stuck' usually means BTw/Openreach have messed up somewhere, and as they are a law unto themselves, there is little that anyone else can do, other than continue chasing (and being fobbed off).

Was this a new installation, or a transfer from another ISP?

Hi, it’s a transfer from EE. I’m now not really confident with plusnet as a provider, I had to contact them as no router had arrived then was told my broadband could go through old router until new one arrived which it appears is not possible. New router has arrived by 24 hr post which is great but still no connection and a houseful arriving later for the weekend. Not a serious problem on the grand scale of things but still really irritating.

Sorry for the late reply, @Michellellew . The fact your PN Hub has arrived suggests that your order completion is imminent. Have you checked open and closed tickets here: https://www.plus.net/member-centre/login?p=search , to see if there is any further detail?
