Order Update?

Just wanted to get an update on my broadband order

 

Have not heard anything since i ordered the upgrade

@Tracey848 When did you order the upgrade? From what to what? Have you checked your Members Centre for tickets?

theres only an ancient ticket from last August which i think they forgot to close, nothing new

i placed the upgrade a week ago and it was due to kick in today but so far nothing. i know it could be at any time but the last time this happened, there was no news until i asked. turned out the cabinet was full on that occasion

So, are you upgrading from from Fibre Unlimited to Fibre Unlimited Extra, or to Full Fibre?

I moved house in September and i signed up for unlimited FTTC but was told the cabinet was full, so had to settle for copper. I have checked the cabinet status every week since then and last week, the cabinet said space was available. When I checked the plusnet website, it confirmed i could upgrade. So now i just want confirmation that its going to happen today as stated.

Ah, OK. If you have not received any confirmed notification, I would call Plusnet as a move from ADSL to FTTC requires Openreach involvement, and they are a little behind with operations. It sounds as though your upgrade may have been delayed.

its just a shame you have to call them for everything. the live chat used to be great in the past but now its useless

Hi @Tracey848 I've just checked and your upgrade is set to go ahead on 1/3/23 this is as Openreach weren't able to commit to the date of 24/2/23 that we'd originally requested.

i hope everything goes well, as i have just checked the availability for the cabinet and it no longer says available.
