Are you transferring to Plusnet from another Openreach provider, or having a new line installed?
When I transferred to PN I was told that it could happen at any time up until midnight, although in my case, BT cut the broadband at about 1am and Plusnet reconnected at about 8am the same day. Even though we didn't have broadband for a few hours, we still had BT dial tone up until about half an hour or so before the Plusnet broadband activated, with their dial tone at the same time. (I think I checked who was supplying the phone service at the time by dialling 150 and seeing who it connected to).

From what I can see the order was delayed until the next morning due to engineering work at the exchange.
Can you confirm if your phone and broadband are working okay with us now?
