Your router left the warehouse last Tuesday and was sent using First Class post so it's very unusual for it not to have arrived

Actually, I don't think that these sort of postal delays are unusual nowdays.
I have recently bought 3 different items on eBay in the past few weeks. All were sent via "Royal Mail 24", or "Royal Mail 48", (confirmed by the postage labels.
All 3 items arrived at least 3 days later than they should have. ☹️
Who knows how long the unspecific "First Class" takes now?

There's nothing here to suggest any widespread problems. There certainly will be towards the end of the week though and after the Bank Holiday 😕
