Re: Potential new customer questions

I was considering PlusNet because that's what the previous occupant had (for £18/month, which seemed nice, but now they're asking for £30/month).

My guess is that the previous occupant may have had a discounted legacy ADSL connection. If the property has Full fibre available , its likely that is the only product that can now be ordered.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Ah I understand now, I hadn't picked up that you were moving.

What am I looking for:

- ideally rolling contract, if not, a short contract with very clear exit fees and no price increase during or at the end of the contract, no phone or any additional services beyond internet

- reliable service but no need for huge download / upload rates (anything with fiber is going to be good enough)

- possible contact by email or online form / chat (with humans)

- good online reviews

@Leonos -

Take a look at  Pulse8  as they have rolling one month contracts, excellent support staff who answer phone quickly and reply to emails often within minutes.  I used them for a few years and everything about them was near perfect.

If you can stand an initial twelve month term after which a rolling monthly contract,

then A&A Home::1 is excellent, and Aquiss are highly regarded,  both have great support.

Thank you @outcast, these are all pretty good suggestions! Especially Aquiss seems like what we'd want and they service the new place.. We'd need to buy a router but that's not big deal, and they are very responsive by email. Thanks!

@Leonos

Aquiss is a great choice, you won't be disappointed.  😎

When are you expecting to move home ?

Good luck with everything !  😀
