Router Delivery Address

Just ordered our broadband with Plusnet to start on the 26th May. It’s a new build and we don’t get keys until the 25th. Is it possible to change the delivery address to my current one as we’ll be able to access this address until the 31st?
Worried it might disappear as they’re having cleaners coming in the day before we move!! Need our broadband to be up and running for work so I’m keen to make sure I’ve got the router 😄

Re: Router Delivery Address

If it is a new build does it have any lines already installed, either copper or fibre?

Even if there is you will be lucky to get it installed by Thursday, and if not it will take a lot longer.

You would be better giving PN a call in the morning, they should be able to give you more idea of when your service might be available.

Re: Router Delivery Address

It already has fibre lines installed, I received a text a few minutes ago to say that it’s due to be activated the morning of the 26th so is this potentially not true?

Re: Router Delivery Address

As Mustrum says, you need to ring Plusnet NOW. Staff monitor this forum when they can but this sounds too urgent to delay -- if your router has not already been posted.

@MapleSpice does it already have an ONT installed ? and has anyone tried to power it up ?

If its a remote activation expected, which it probably is if its due to be activated on the 26th , then you should probably have had a text requesting that the ONT be checked and powered up
