Router delivery

I have just received a message to say my new router has been dispatched ready for my full fibre install on 28/2.

I am away for the next few days so is it possible to get a message to the whichever couriers is delivering it to say to leave it with a neighbour

Re: Router delivery

@russm44 The Hub is packaged such that it will go through a standard letterbox. Unfortunately, it is delivered by Royal Mail, so no message can be passed on.

Re: Router delivery

@russm44 Routers are now sent Royal mail tracked, so you should have received the tracking ID

Re: Router delivery

If I recall when I was sent a router on recontracting at the end of January, I got the text to say it was dispatched but did not get the tracking ID until Royal Mail sent it the next morning by which time the item was going out for delivery from the local delivery office. In any case RM seem to only commit to a 4 hour slot at best.

Re: Router delivery

@jgb That was before PN had modified their system to allow them to include the tracking number in the despatch notification email - now sorted.
