Router not arrived

I recieved a text on Tuesday my router has been ordered as my wifi was due to go live on the Friday. I rang plus net to say my buzzer does not work on my building and if they could add my number they said they can’t and that I would get a text from Royal Mail with tracking and a delivery date which i Still have not. I then received a text that my wifi is live but I still do not have a router and not sure if they tried to deliver it or what is going on with the parcel as no Royal Mail slip has been left through the main door

@FrankieL Hubs are sent out by Tracked Delivery - check your emails, including the 'spam' for a notification of despatch, this will include the tracking number.

@FrankieL  and if you cant find any emails, Then check your account for 'closed questions' as the tracking number should be there.

Login to the member centre then go to https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=search and then use the drop down to view closed questions.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Hi I have checked that and there is still no tracking number for the router

In that case it looks like something has gone wrong with the automated despatch of the router. I'm sure of the help team will pick this up ( but probably not today )

In the meantime do you have access to any other routers that may work ?

Make/ model will help as will what  broadband product you have ordered

Hi I have just signed up to plus net I was with talk talk before so I only have a talk talk router

@FrankieL That will be of no use on Plusnet - it is locked to TT.

@FrankieL I'd suggest giving support another call to check the router has been despatched.

@FrankieL  If you are desperate for a connection, maybe working from home, have a look at Gumtree or ebay for a BT HH6 in your area. It works well with Plusnet and you can keep it as a spare when your router does arrive. Unfortunately between strikes last month, the Christmas rush and last week's cyberattack Royal Mail is in an even bigger mess than usual so it might be worth spending £15-£20 for this standby.
