Yet another "New Customer Activation Date" thread

On 6th November i signed up to ADSL+ Broadband and requested 2nd December as my activation date on the sign up page and i took a screenshot of the big green tick ( this was the same date my BT contract ended),unfortunately this date was ignored and i was given the usual 10 working days date of 22nd, telephoned provisioning and was told sorry and my date moved to 2nd December, short time later received text stating my broadband would become active by midnight on 3rd December, phoned back AGAIN and was told no, ignore the text that is wrong.When i check my activation date on the broadband order tracker page all i see is: {strCustActivationDate}, can one of the helpful staff on this forum please check my account to make sure things are actually on track and my activation date is the 2nd December please? My forum username is different to my member centre username if that makes any difference to things.

I'm sorry for the confusion regarding your activation date.

Just a quick update, i applied via telephone to upgrade my ADSL connection to unlimited fibre as a connection had become available at the cabinet according to both: https://www.openreach.com/fibre-broadband

and https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL

and was told the activation date of 9th December but cannot see anything related to this on my account pages, can this please be checked by "STAFF" to confirm all is on track?

I've checked your fibre order and I can confirm it's due to complete on the 13/12/2021.

Really sorry for the delay and lack of communication from us regarding this, the delay is due to engineer availability.

Just to update this thread, Unlimited Fibre went live midday today as promised, speedtest shows 37.15Mbps downstream and 9.23Mbps upstream, luvvly jubbly !
