You don't have an order in progress

I have signed up for Plusnet as a new customer 22nd November, 3 days ago, nothing has arrived.

I have several emails with a 'order tracker', but when I click it I am taken to a page which says "You don't have an order in progress".

Did you receive any acknowledgement of the order or of the initial payment?

When you clicked the link in the email, did you have an active web browser session already logged into the member centre?

There are a number of quirks with the user member centre - it can look logged in, some navigation of the member centre works, but access to core business functionality does not work / produces off errors.

  1. Log into the member centre
  2. Use the log out link to do a full clean log out (removes logged in status detritus from your PC)
  3. Log into the member centre again
  4. Click on the link in the email - see if you get a different response

Alternatively, having logged in to the member centre in a different tab, return here and click the PN Tickets link below and inspect the detail of recent tickets.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Thanks for the detailed response. It eventually arrived (although still waiting on activation) but the tracking thing never worked.

Originally I signed up for the service on the Plusnet website, entered all the info, paid the initial payment and set up the Direct Debit, and was taken to a page saying "thanks, you'll receive email confirmation of service starting and delivery" etc or words to that effect.

I never received anything and the following day I called, they had no record of me signing up, so I had to go through the whole process over the phone.

Perhaps some glitche in the system related to my first online attempt.

Anyhoo, received the router and just waiting on activation.
