how long until my switch happens?

I've received the router two days ago. Switch was supposed to happen on 17/7....what's going on?

I don't want to pay BT for another month. I've been expecting texts and emails but nothing is happening

@fletch_h Is your PN Hub plugged in/switched on? What colour is the light?

I haven't received any messages text or email to say PlusNet have activated my broadband...so no, I haven't plugged it in.

Was the 17th a CONFIRMED date? If you have received the Hub, I suspect it was, but it is best to make sure.

My BT broadband is still working and assumed that would stop after switch over

I've just checked the last text sent Friday which reads "we'll text you again when your broadband is ready, please don't set up your router until then"

OK Helen. WAS the 17th a confirmed date though? If your BT connection is still working, this suggests the switch hasn't happened for whatever reason, but if it was confirmed to go ahead yesterday, then something appears to have gone wrong. Your best option is to call Plusnet, as the Help Team support around here is a bit thin, and only they would be able to check.

EDIT: sounds like it wasn't a confirmed date then.

spoken to plusnet and confirmed date is 19th (not sure how its changed from 17th) but fingers crossed for tomorrow.

OK Helen - just remember it can take up to 23.59 on that date for all the cogs fall into place, but it is usually sooner.
