Hi Plusnet,
my account told me my upgrade has been finished, the engineer came to my house to install everything on Thursday, but the speed has not changed.
as you can see in my attached file, my speed is only 66MB.
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Is that a wired speed test ?

I am guessing it is because Plusnet has upgraded my contract but Openreach haven't upgraded my speed, is there any possibility to contact Openreach, and let them upgrade my contract to full fibre 300MB .

From the looks of it they have but if you are not getting the right speeds, we will have to have a look at the setup. Are you able to attach photos of your setup? I just need to make sure everything as it should be and if so then get an engineer out.

@willcutforth if youre thinking cable limitation between the ONT and router, then the router status page is showing a 1Gb connection to the ONT, so that would seem to eliminate that as a potential problem ?

@kangqiwang I think @willcutforth was referring to your hardware setup, that is how the ONT, Router and PC are physically connected up. It's pretty straight forward so I can't see that being a problem. The router information does not give any useful info.
I assume your PC is reasonably recent and not a 30 year old device that can't manage higher speeds.🙄
FTTP is very reliable and works at the expected speed or not at all so I suspect Plusnet have not updated your speed profile correctly, do you have a Static WAN IP address on your connection, this can cause issues? There is a Plusnet profile badly named Current Line Speed which is not an actual speed but a cap on the speed and it can get stuck.
This used to be visible on the broadband tab on the member centre but the website has changed and it doesn't appear to be shown anymore.
Another thing you could try is the Advanced Diagnostics on the BT wholesale speed test, the problem with FTTP is that you need a line id or BBEU number as there is no phone number.
I would say that an engineer visit is not likely to help with this problem and would be a waste of time.
