5ghz Wireless

Hi

I am trying to put my oculus quest 2 on 5ghz wireless and i have read how to do it but i am confused what i have to type on the wireless SSID bit

People say to change the name but change it to what?

At the moment i have no devices listed under my 5gz connection. I have done all the other steps apart from renaming it

It has the same written in the box as my 2.4ghz except it has -5ghz after it

Re: 5ghz Wireless

Navigate in a web browser to 192.168.1.254.

Click Advanced Settings

Enter your Hub admin password when prompted (unless you've changed it, you'll find the default password on the settings card)
Continue to Advanced Settings.
Click on Wireless.
Click 5GHz tab.
Change 'Sync with 2.4Ghz' to No.
Change the name of the 'Wireless SSID' - I added a '_5' on the end.
Save the changes.

You can then select which one you want per device.

Fix

@RICH2015

You have to go to the available wireless network settings on your device. You will now find you have two networks, the original and the new one finishing -5. You need to select this. The password is the same for both.
