I’m on Unlimited Fibre Extra with old TP-Link router.
Last week I’ve got myself a DSL-AX82U router.
Ever since then I have tried to get my Asus DSL-AX82U Router to work.
I followed lots of advice and tips in the Plusnet Forums and online, checked cabling.
As soon I connect our old TP-Link router with the same ethernet cable I use with the Asus router, it connects straight away to the internet.
I must have hard reset the router at least 10 times. Nothing works.
I applied exactly the same settings as on the TP-Link router and it says “Disconnected”
The funny thing is that when I hit DSL button next to WAN I can see that modem is talking outside to DSL Router broadcom, I can see upload and download rate changing.
Also in the settings, when I apply them (including my static IP) I see DNS addresses, but at WAN IP I see 0.0.0.0.
Any ideas anyone?
I am very grateful for any help.
Some screenshots attached

The first thing I noticed is you should have get ip address switched to yes- even if you do have a static ip.
i will have a look at other settings tomorrow.
And you have also messed around with your ip range/default gateway!

Thank you for a swift response!
Hmm, I didn't mess up with def gateway.
These are the working settings from old TP-LINK router, copied carefully digit by digit.

Also what do you have the router plugged into?
it should be a rj11 dsl cable into the phone master socket / filter.

Router (just like the previous one) is connected with brand new RJ-11 to a completely new socket with filter built-in, both replaced as a precaution by OpenReach engineer about a month ago.

1 strange thing i've noticed is that i wanted to hook up my old Plus.Net Hub One which i haven't used for ages and i had a similar situation where DSL signal was discovered but no broadband. (same, untouched settings)
I guess i will give Plus.Net helpdesk a ring tomorrow.
