Better router? Mesh WiFi?

I have used a Netgear D6220 on my system for the last N years. I also have an unused Hub 2 router.

Is there any benefit to make a switch to the Hub 2?

Later this week I will have a Devolo Magic 2 WiFi 6 kit delivered which will enable mesh wifi around the house and LAN for TV etc..

Will both of these routers work as well as each other with the Devolo kit or would one be superior?

Is it best to switch off the router wifi once the mesh system is installed?

@Jacksoag I would imagine the Hub2 would be a better option as it is obviously newer, with improved technology. If you are using a mesh system, turning off the routers WiFi is a given.

Others may have further guidance for you.
