Bridge mode with nest wifi pro issues

I recently got a Google Nest wifi pro and have it set up using the lan port on the H2 and wifi disabled and the nest works fine.

I want to run the H2 in bridge mode and the google nest wifi pro in PPPoE how ever no matter how much i try i can't get it to work.

My last attempt to get it working I set the H2 to bridge mode and then reset my nest wifi pro and started the set up process on the nest selecting PPPoE, filling out my username@plusdsl.net and my account password but it just won't play ball.

Wondering if anyone else has had this issue and managed to get it working?

Just to add I have tried multiple different ways to change the settings as well as multiple resets etc.

Has anyone had issues using bridge mode with other routers?

Re: Bridge mode with nest wifi pro issues

@Chewy1

Has anyone had issues using bridge mode with other routers?

There are many posts on here regarding successful use of bridge mode

can I check a few things:-

1) You are connecting the Nest WAN port to a LAN (not the red WAN!) port on the Hub 2 ?

2) The Hub 2 is definitely in bridge mode , LED is pink ?

3) You have double checked the PPPoE passsword , its the same one used to login to the member centre (https://www.plus.net/member-centre/login)

Re: Bridge mode with nest wifi pro issues

Good luck with Google, from previous posts, they dont seem to be that helpful when it comes to using PPPoE.

There doesnt seem to be any log that can be checked for clues as to what is going wrong.
