Can I prioritise devices connected to wi-fi?

Hi,

We have a basic broadband connection with an approx 6Mbps/1Mbps connection using a router supplied by PlusNet (see details below)

Is there any way to prioritise (NOT block. I know how to do that) the bandwidth to certain devices connected via Wi-Fi over others? This would be useful in certain scenarios when we are operating near our max. (e.g. Apple TV starts to buffer just as Harry Kane scores another goal because teenager has fired up Destiny 2 on XBox)

1 - Product name: Plusnet Router

3 - Firmware version: 7.275.2_F2704N_Plusnet

4 - Board version: F@ST2704N

5 - Mode ADSL

7 - Data rate: 1155/7488

8 - Maximum data rate: 1155/8212

9 - Noise margin: 6.2/5.3

10 - Line attenuation: 29.7/50.0

27 - Software variant Version 1.0

Any help gratefully received.

Cheers

Re: Can I prioritise devices connected to wi-fi?

You can't do it with the PN supplied router, unfortunately.

A new router would be required or a new wireless access point that that can have a throttled SSID
