@jab1 But sometimes it gives better speed and then goes slower ha ha ha
The dilemma is that it requires some software or driver fix, I can use my Singapore and India laptop also in the same house which are working fine. But Dubai laptop despite being newest is causing problem.
I have ordered a wifi usb dual band modem also in GBP 12 from Amazon, lets see if that would help me to sort out this issue.

You're in the wrong place completely. Its a driver setting in Windows. Its in the Advanced properties of the wireless adapter.
As @jab1 said earlier if a wired connection isnt giving close to 500Mb then there's a more basic problem.
Which speedtester are you using ? what does the Ookla (speedtest.net) give on a wired connection ?

@MisterW Oh okay, so you meant to check and edit the settings in the laptop's device manager wireless adaptor setting. Let me look at it as I am not a techno freak person he he he
I think you are right, speed differs when change the speed tester. At this time, it is showing much higer speed when used Ookla, given Download Mbps of 277.89 and Upload Mbps of 72.42
But using other it gives poor
97.1
Mbps download
0.08
Mbps upload

@MisterW I cracked what is the issue and found the solution too, thanks for your amazing knowledge and support.
Firstly I learnt something new today about the WIfi Standards of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax and then which one is supported by my current laptop. Since my laptop only shows 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, or combined 802.11a/b/g, it means it does not support 802.11n, 802.11ac, or 802.11ax, which are faster and more modern standards.
Quick solution is: I will change the Wireless setting in laptop from current 'combined' to '802.11a' only, because:
- It operates on 5GHz, which is faster and less congested than 2.4GHz.
- It provides better speed compared to 802.11b/g.
The long solution is I will get a new USB model that supports WIFI 6 or 802.11n/ac/ax which I have already ordered.
This has made by day. Thanks to everyone @jab1 and @Baldrick1 too. It was a great learning to be part of this community.

Although I'm not going to confuse things by arguing, I'm totally amazed that a two year old machine that can handle W11 doesn't have - at least - 802.11n support.
