Encryption Type for Hub Two wireless access

Hi,
I have a Hub Two, can I advise people who wish to gain internet access at a location the Encryption type best selected, for my old Hub One I advised:

For Encryption select WPA-PSK
Version: WPA+WPA2
Encryption Type: AES

Has any of that changed for the Hub Two please, thanks.

Re: Encryption Type for Hub Two wireless access

Should I disable WPS also ? just as a safety measure.

Re: Encryption Type for Hub Two wireless access

What is the current encryption on your Hub2? I'm no expert, but I would imagine the default would be set at the most secure possible.

As to WPS - if you don't intend to try and connect any other devices via that method, you can turn it off, but from a 'security' point of view in a domestic environment, I would regard it as overkill.

It should not be necessary to advise what encryption is being used as the connecting device will auto configure to the required encryption.

There is no harm leaving WPS enabled unless you want to control who can connect to your hub as WPS removes the need to for the network key to connect to your wireless network.

Edit: the Hub Two uses WPA2 / AES
