Help re quick use of Hub 2 until i fix my Opnsesne Unit

I'll help you restructure this message to make it clearer and more professional. Here's an improved version:

Subject: Help Needed: Configuring Plusnet Hub 2 with Custom Network Settings

Hello everyone,

I'm temporarily using a Plusnet Hub 2 while troubleshooting my OPNsense unit and need assistance with the configuration. Here's what I'm trying to achieve:

Network Setup:
- Gateway IP: 192.168.23.1 (Plusnet Hub 2)
- Secondary Router: DD-WRT (192.168.23.2)
- Additional Device: Nighthawk

Configuration Attempts:
1. Set the gateway IP to 192.168.23.1
2. Configured DHCP range to 192.168.23.10 - 192.168.23.99 (to avoid conflicts with static devices and DD-WRT router)

Issues:
The hub keeps requiring a factory reset after applying these settings.

Questions:
1. Is this configuration theoretically correct?
2. I'm setting the gateway IP in field #1 and DHCP range in field #2 using custom settings - am I missing any steps?
3. Can I disable the Hub's WiFi and use only my DD-WRT router for wireless?
4. Where in the interface can I configure static IP addresses?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Note: Feel free to let me know if you need any additional information about my setup.

@OsoPolar  From your previous thread you were informed that you don't need to use the HUB2 on FTTP if you have another router with a PPPoE connection to the Openreach ONT, so I am not sure what you are trying to achieve in this thread. Are you able to connect to the ONT using the DD-WRT router? Using the HUB2 is unnecessary and confuses the issue.

Fix

@OsoPolar

Suggest all changes are made using a wired connection

After the Hubs IP Address and DHCP pool been changed has the PC you are using adopted a new IP Address from new the DHCP pool range?

No reason why you can not turn off the Hubs wireless.
