Re: Hub One firmware push required

Thanks @bobpullen
Log shows it’s completed the download ok.
Rebooting later tonight after everyone else has finished with the net for the day.

I will keep you posted on how it turns out....

Re: Hub One firmware push required

Older firmware in place and it’s back to working over ethernet.

So must be something particular with the new firmware and my TP-Link.

Re: Hub One firmware push required

How bizarre.

I can't think of any changes that are likley to have affected the functionality.

I've a feeling the hub will upgrade again on its own accord at some point, so worth keeping an eye out when it does.

Let me know if the situation reverts.

Edit: I wonder if any other Community folk are using a Hub One and have an old BT Openreach VDSL modem lying about that they'd be willing to try with. I don't have easy access to a copper line at the moment.

@bobpullen

I know where I can get a BT modem from, but not for a couple of weeks!

Yeah @bobpullen

My sisters account is the PlusNet account I 'manage', I say 'manage' which is a misnomer.  Basically it just means moan on these forums 😀

She can't get Branson Media, so her ADSL is the best she can get.

I am sure she has one in her shed, I can pop over there tomorrow and have a look.

Re: Hub One firmware push required

I have a few in the office but I'm not expecting to be in until next Friday. Assuming I remember, I'll also try replicating the issue myself. Granted, it's not a TP-Link modem - but it's a start.

Re: Hub One firmware push required

The TP-Link I have is a modem/router all in one unit, in bridge mode to connect the hub one. Maybe the fact it’s a router has some baring on the issue, although it’s DHCP is off so really shouldn’t have any impact.

No sign of the .289 firmware being downloaded. CWMP appears to be having a problem connecting with a “WGET other error”
